UFOs Over Parking Lot (Added: 11/19/08)
The spectacular picture you see here is a perfect example of a UFO flap and a mass sighting in a single picture. On July 16, 1952, a USCG seaman standing watch in the Salem Coast Guard Weather Office saw four illuminated lights in the sky. Signalling for another watchstander to see and confirm, the lights began to dim. Once they brightened again, the frightened seaman decided to take this photograph through the office window. It is widely regarded as a valid photograph. |
